The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) offers premium discounts to help employers establish a safer and more cost-effective workplace. BWC’s Drug-Free Workplace Program (DWRF) and Drug-Free EZ, for businesses with 25 or fewer full-time employees, can provide a company with a 10-percent to 20-percent discount on workers’ comp premiums. And participating employers can stack their DFWP discount on top of their group-rating discount for an even greater workers’ comp premium savings up to a maximum benefit of 95 percent!

It gets better! BWC offers safety grants to employers who implement a drug-free workplace program. Safety grants can be used to cover employee education, supervisor training, and training materials.
